At MK Magnetics, Inc., our leadership role in the magnetics industry is built on quality, consistency, and the flexibility to accommodate virtually any custom requirement for tape wound magnetic cores. At the heart of our quality program is our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system that is UL-DQS registered for full electrical and magnetics testing laboratory. UL-DQS is a partnership between Underwriters Laboratory, and DQS, the world leader in impartial quality certifications. We chose UL-DQS because they provide the most comprehensive and rigorous audit and certification processes available.
In our manufacturing facility, we operate a variety of advanced systems that allow us to manufacture and fully test cores from less than 1 ounce up to 4,000 lbs. We also operate under EIA standard RS-217 as a standard practice and provide full compliance with RoHS and REACH, as well as many Mil-spec standards.
The validation arm of our quality and manufacturing capabilities is our state-of-the-art testing lab. This QC facility is equipped with testing systems from names such as Wayne-Kerr, Yokogawa, Elgar, General Radio, AE Techron, BK Precision, Tektronix, Fluke, Associated Research, Clark-Hess, and Mitutoyo. This allows us to provide testing with DC roll-off, core loss and mag current testing, 3 phase testing, CCFR and BH loop testing, toroids matching, heat chamber testing, and much more. Our quality team consists of industry professionals with years of broad industry experience. This unique resource means that regardless of test requirements our staff can develop the optimal test procedure.
